Karachi Is Likely To Bake – A 3-day Heatwave Will Strike Karachites.

Karachi is likely to bake from an expected heatwave from Tuesday 5th May, according to PMD – Pakistan Meteorological Department. The Southern port city of Pakistan will brace a heatwave from May 5thto May 8th where the mercury will rise to 43 Celsius.

The minimum temperature will be between 26°C – 28°C and the maximum temperature will be between 39°C – 41°C, with 80% morning and 55% evening Humidity levels.

According to the PMD’s early heat center, “It is foreseen that moderate heatwave will likely to prevail over the Port City and its suburbs from 5th– 8th May. During this period, the winds will be flowing generally from northwest till afternoon and turning to the southwest in the evening.

The weather will be extremely humid and the Karachites may feel extreme heat because of the conditions in the Arabian Sea results in the suspended sea breeze. As we said, Karachi will be likely to bake.
